Northstar Preschool at Clear Lake is a privately owned early education center in Houston, Texas, serving children from 6 weeks to 12 years old. We offer traditional programs to support children’s growth from infancy through school age. Our Facilities
At Northstar Preschool Clear Lake, our classrooms are thoughtfully designed to reduce overstimulation while promoting creativity and independence. Shared spaces and outdoor areas are created to encourage large motor play, social interaction, and exploration.

Our educators participate in regular professional development and receive twice-yearly training designed to strengthen teaching skills and align with our core values. We believe that children thrive when teachers thrive which is why we invest heavily in training, mentoring, and long-term growth for our staff.

With years of experience in early childhood education, Delandia is passionate about creating a nurturing and educational environment for children.

Diandra’s expertise in child development and dedication to supporting families makes her an integral part of our team.
Clark Peterson - CEO
Clark Peterson is the founder and CEO of Northstar Preschools. Since 2021, he has led the company’s growth with a focus on quality, strong leadership, and a mission-driven culture-building schools where children thrive and families feel confident in their choice of care. He’s also a proud (and happily outnumbered) dad to four daughters and a dedicated dad-joke enthusiast-despite some tough critics at home.
Activities
Northstar offers care and education for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, Pre-K, and school-age children. Each classroom is designed to support the developmental stage of the children it serves. We blend teaching and childcare into a seamless experience that gives children structure, freedom, and a sense of belonging.
We believe that early learning should be both meaningful and joyful. That’s why we emphasize character development, social skills, and opportunities to build confidence through real-world problem-solving and discovery. Whether children are learning to walk or preparing to enter kindergarten, we meet them with the support they need to thrive.
